Kenya. Agriculture dominates Kenya’s economy. 15–17% of Kenya’s total land area has sufficient fertility and rainfall to be farmed. The Kenyan government is currently working with public and private stakeholders to reach their target of 10% tree cover for the country – . Ethiopian traditional medicinal plants for treatment of various diseases including cancer. The present paper is an overview of the literature reporting the use of these plants for cancer treatment. It was reported that 30 species of plants were used for treating human cancer, with most of them belonging to different plant families.
Kenya's native plants include the Meru Oak and the Parasol Tree, both of which are threatened endemic country has diversified plant life that occurs in different parts of the country from the coastal regions to the savannah grassland areas and the highland forests. This is a list of Southern African trees, shrubs, suffrutices, geoxyles and lianes, and is intended to cover Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe.. The notion of 'indigenous' is of necessity a blurred concept, and is clearly a function of both time and political boundaries.
